Nov 27,2018.
Africa has always been a continent that matters for our Kingdom for endless reasons. We have in the continent many Commonwealth countries with which we have historic centennials relation. In the African continent there are many countries with which we have: a common language, a basic common culture, a basic common history, so we will have the basic common future; a future of mutual interests, one of greatness. Far of us any desire to refresh 18-19th pattern of relation. We aim using our common rich history to create the conditions of a rich, a peaceful and free organization of countries in friendship, collaboration with the other countries.
Indeed we did not mean isolating ourselves from the world, but strengthening our union and going to the world together. That is the best way to make ourselves respected and defending our interests.
This organization will be colorless; the cultures, the religions and values of each will be respected in the network of common values.
In the African continent we have many striving comrades, partners and allies: Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, Kenya, and many other countries which daily are making progress to be the proud of our organization. Those countries are globally the different political and economic pilars of this continent. The reasons of the greatness and success of those countries in a continent, where unfortunately there are lot of poor and politically unstable countries is to be found nowhere; if not in the excellency of our common historic heritage in respect of each other, and also in their affiliation to the Commonwealth. Being part of this fundamental organization opens those countries the door of the world striving markets; with globally the world greatest striving economies being part of it as Canada, South Africa, New Zealand, India, Hong Kong, China close to India etc.
The countries that composed that made the Commonwealth are the economic dynamics creator in their regions and even for the entire continent and of the world as Nigeria, and South Africa.
Africa is a wealthy continent with lot of underground resources that unfortunately the inhabitants of the continents do not profit. Our kingdom will set a new economic model in the continent that will make its populations profiting of its wealth. We will do that without interfering in their internal politics as longer as basic human rights are not concerned.
Of course on March 29, 2019 our Kingdom leaves the EU, the massive flow of immigrants that through the EU overwhelmed our kingdom is among one of the main reasons, our Subjects decided to leave the EU. Still we will not close our borders to Africans that want to visit or study in our Kingdom by respecting our laws. Our borders will always be opened for ladies and gentlemen of the Commonwealth. In our conception Brexit means opening an era of opening ourselves to the world instead of sacrificing this important relation by being mainly opened to the EU.
Africa is a virgin continent with lot of economic potentialities that will exploit. There are lot infrastructures, and services to be built and developed that were not. The United Kingdom will build and develop them.
There is a terrible mistake our Kingdom has done which is after the end of the colonial period; we did not open lot of Embassies and Consulates to keep in touch with the newly independent countries. Somewhere, even the few representations we opened, we closed them few years later after their independences. More than everywhere it was in Africa that we opened very few representations and closed the few under the pretext of their cost. Our Kingdom refuses to see it is never bad to open a diplomatic relation. Imagine, the simple visa delivering service strengthening the economic relation between countries that brought billion Pounds incredibly more than the functioning costs of the representation.
King George VI will correct this mistake by opening lot of representations in African countries. We will make unbelievably easy for Africans, especially Commonwealth countries to go in our Oversea territories.
We create also lot economic polar in all main African regions so that sorounding countries have access to our products. For example in West Africa there is Nigeria, in South Africa there is South Africa, and in North Africa there are Egypt and Morocco.
We will increase our cultural precense by opening cultural centers. We also increase our scholarly relation with the continent by giving lot of studying grants of United Kingdom to African students.
